For nearly half a century our diverse and multidisciplinary community of scholars, archivists, artists, students, and Jewish community leaders has ensured that all Canadians have access to and can engage with the rich tapestry of Canada’s Jewish culture, heritage, and history. Through community-based activities, scholarships, and social opportunities, the Association for Canadian Jewish Studies / l’Association d’études juives canadiennes offers everyone interested in Jewish Canada a home to explore and think critically about its past, present, and future.
Membership is open to scholars, students, professionals, and to anyone interested in the study of Jewish life in Canada.
Membership benefits include:
- Eligibility to attend the ACJS’s annual conference.
- The right to participate in the ACJS Annual General Meeting and vote on matters of Association governance.
- Subscription to the ACJS’s monthly newsletter.
- Additionally, all membership dues support the mission of the ACJS.

The ACJS is pleased to offer tax receipts for membership fees at all tiers.
To receive a tax receipt automatically, please pay your membership fee by using our CanadaHelps donation page and selecting the “Membership” fund. Under “Donation Amount,” select “Other” and enter the appropriate fee according to the list below. Note: you must cover CanadaHelps’ transaction fees (this box is preselected on the form) to ensure your membership is processed.
You may also pay your membership fee via the forms below. A tax receipt will be issued at a later date.
